My software vendor says their product provides a similar service, so why should I purchase OASIS Analysis Plus?

Software vendors do provide edit checks. These edit checks review the document to ensure that all the required fields are completed so it is not rejected upon submission to CMS. Edit checks are not the same as a clinical review. OASIS Analysis Plus reviews the responses from a clinical perspective and points out clinical inconsistencies for your review. Why should I buy OASIS Analysis Plus?

The OASIS is a highly complex document. In order to properly review the document, a highly trained individual needs over an hour. How does my OASIS data transfer into OASIS Analysis Plus for analysis?

OASIS Analysis Plus imports the OASIS data by either a direct interface built with your clinical software package or by importing the string file created when the OASIS submission file is prepared. After the data is imported, users can easily run the OASIS analysis and the series of operational, financial, clinical and outcome reports.

Can OASIS Analysis Plus work with my clinical software package?

Yes, we can work with all clinical software packages. In many cases, we have direct interfaces built. But even without the direct interface, we can easily import the data from your clinical software package into OASIS Analysis Plus.

Is my agency too small to benefit from OASIS Analysis Plus?

OASIS Analysis Plus works for start-ups, small agencies, large agencies, regional chains and large chains. Smaller agencies need OASIS Analysis Plus simply because they often lack the resources and/or the time to adequately review the OASIS. You need to ensure that each OASIS submitted is accurate. Can you afford to allow $250, $500, or $1,000 walk out the door? PPS Plus can help ensure your agency receives the right reimbursement for your efforts.

How do I obtain your product?

Contact us at 1-888-897-9136 or email us at info@ppsplus.com. One of our nurses will then contact you and set up a time for an online demonstration, which usually takes about an hour. If you are satisfied after the demonstration, we will email you a proposal and accept a payment for the first month’s subscription (check, e-check, or major credit card).

Our implementation nurse will contact you to schedule your installation with our support specialists and provide live online training for you and your staff once the installation is completed. This training session will teach you how to fully utilize the software and is tailored to your agency’s needs. All users are provided with a 30 day trial period, so if you are not satisfied with the product after 30 days, you may cancel the subscription and receive a full refund.

Do you charge for upgrades and enhancements? How about technical support?

PPS Plus makes it easy for our customers. You receive one bill that includes the right to use the software, all upgrades and enhancements, and technical support. When CMS makes a change, customers receive a free corresponding software update. When the ICD-10 coding updates happen in the fall, customers receive a free corresponding software update. When the reimbursement rates change each year, customers receive a free corresponding software update.

How do I obtain technical support?

A live person will answer the call and, in most cases, you will be able to speak to a technician at the time you place the call. Where can I view/demo OASIS Analysis Plus in person?

Every year we attend a number of home care conferences and tradeshows – as well as host educational events of our own – all over the country. Our clinical and technical experts are always on hand at these events in order to help interested parties get hands on with the product, view reports and ask any questions.
